Student Loans
Private Student Loans*
In-School Payment Options
Making small payments towards the loan while in school can help borrowers pay down the loan faster, thus saving money on interest. Students begin building positive credit and good repayment habits.
No Origination Fee
Some other private loan programs (and federal loans) may charge an up-front origination fee, which is typically added to the principal balance of the loan. This loan has no origination fee.
30 Day No-Fee Return Policy
The borrower can cancel the loan within 30 days of disbursement without fees or interest.
Academic Credit Score
A proprietary scoring model assigns an Academic Credit Score (ACS), which is used for loan pricing. The ACS takes the credit bureau data of the Borrower (and Cosigner when applicable), along with academic characteristics of the student, such as their major and academic year.
Cosigner Release
Available to creditworthy borrowers, a Cosigner Release allows you to remove a parent or other cosigner from the burden after 24 months of on-time, full interest and principal payments.
Rate Reduction
- .25% rate discount when the borrower chooses to authorize automatic ACH loan payments
- 1% for 10%: Once the borrower has paid 10% of their principal, the interest rate margin is reduced by 1%
